- IDL in collaboration with FNSt carries out its programs to disseminate information through meaningful dialogue at national and international forums and the preservation of religious and cultural values pertaining to national harmony from its inception in 1997
- In association with its principle sponsor the Friedrich Naumann Stiftung, the IDL strive to protect the inalienable right of our people to live in freedom without fear.
- To that extent the IDL is carrying out a number of programs with FNSt in Sri Lanka especially at grass root level.
