Liberal Youth Guilds (LYGs)

LYGs are the regional chapters of the IDL.
- All youth who trained with IDL at the Leadership training programs are eligible to become members of the LYGs.
- LYG’s are set up at administrative district level and youth under 35 years of age, who are trained at IDL leadership training programs in those electorates are enrolled as members of LYGs.
- LYGs provide a forum for youth in grass root level to gain knowledge and experience in liberal principles and values.
- LYGs provide opportunity to the youth to interact with each other and communicate or meet with other youth groups with similar interests and views in various part of the country.
- It provide rural youth with an opportunity to learn English language, gain knowledge and skill in computer literacy and enables them to interact at international level.
